August, Friday the 13th, 2010, we were treated to quite a show. These hot summer evening, without the light of the moon, the Perseids meteor shower rained from our perspective, just outside of Grand Ridge, IL. Among the turbines and farm landscape, this was a night that I will not soon forget. This collection of all-time gaffes shot on the night of the 12th August by the morning of August the 13th included in their entrity. Shot with two Canon cameras along with a 5D2-5D, 7D and Rebel XS,Gitzo tripods and Kessler were CineDolly, the images shot in RAW and processed in Adobe Lightroom. The finished video was edited with Final Cut Pro from Apple ProRes 4444, before the final pressure with the compressor. Most shots were taken with a 30 seconds exposure, 33-second interval, ISO 1600, f / 4 to 5.6 depending on the lens (Canon & Sigma fisheye, Canon 16-35mm 2.8 II, Canon 24-105 4.0 is) Kendrick Astro lens warmers were used to counteract the high dew point 73 degrees.
