Here are some pictures from 2008 Taurid meteor shower. Normally, the Taurids are not much to see, but this year it passed the earth by a swarm of meteors. The meteors were behind the Comet 2P/Encke left. Although there was not an abundance of meteorites known as the meteor shower, there was an abundance of meteor fireballs. Fireballs are a meteor thats brighter than -4 or brighter than Venus.
