Set of 3 nights lapse clips from the 2010 Perseid meteor shower, shooting in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. These three drives were conducted over a period of two nights. The first clip is not changed - it was done with a true 185 degrees hemispherical lens, are evident on the horizon in all directions. The second clip is a version of the same shoot out with the horizon, always sit forward to the bottom of the frame. The last clip is a standard extreme fisheye lens, with the horizon as the onlythe corners. Aircraft tracks are clear, but meteorites are also present, though perhaps not as bright as you generally think. You only have to look after them. The music is Puccini's Nessun Dorma, sung by Sarah Brightman. Although it was written for the male voice sings I prefer a woman to hear any opera, so this is my conscious decision. So there.
