I went to the Dent de Crolles, ie the night of the Perseid meteor shower meteors. The sky cleared up nicely with a sea of clouds in the valley below, the lights blocked from the cities below. Unfortunately it was too windy to fly the next morning, but my neighbor took me paragliding at the Col des Ayes, and brought me back to St. Hil - Thanks Laurent!
